e-LIS: Tech Focus - Group Activities with Google Slides
Facilitator: Danielle Nicholson
Location: Online
Date/Time: Tue, August 8, 2023, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
Description: Are you looking for an easy tool to facilitate group activities? Whether you are teaching in person, fully online, hybrid, or HyFlex, Google Slides might be the right fit for you! With Google Slides, students can build collaborative presentations and work on other visually engaging activities, regardless of where they are in the world. You and your students can simultaneously edit files and communicate in real-time, making remote collaboration easy and low-stress. In this hands-on workshop, you'll participate in an introduction activity where you will build a simple slide to introduce yourself to the other workshop participants. You'll walk away with a template for facilitating your own Google Slide activity, and resources for learning more. We'll also spend a bit of time discussing Google Jamboard. Space is limited, so sign up today!
