Moodle Winter Institute

Description: The Moodle Winter Institute is a three day, hands-on workshop series that will provide beginning and immediate Moodle users with all of the necessary skills and tools to help you build Moodle courses and develop online content. Attendees will learn the basics of using Moodle for online, blended, or face-to-face courses. There will be in-depth exploration on how to use the various activities and features in Moodle, such as quizzes, discussion forums, assignments, and gradebook. We will provide insight on the best practices behind online course creation and content delivery.

Lunch will be provided starting at 11:30 am.

The Moodle Winter Institute can be attended live either in-person at 430 Kresge Library, or by attending online via WebEx. If you plan to attend online via WebEx, you can visit the following page on the same day at 12 PM to join virtually


Requirements: No experience necessary. You must bring your Oakland University email login and password.
