e-LIS: Best Practices for Classroom Technology for HyFlex Classes


Description : eLIS has partnered with Classroom Support to deliver this workshop to demonstrate best practices for HyFlex classes. The workshop will take place in one of the classrooms setup as "Grizzflex." Even if you do no teach in a classroom outfitted with extra cameras and mics like the Grizzflex classrooms, there will still be information and best practices to make best use of the classrooms you are teaching. A link to an eSpace will be provided ahead of time so you can have early access to HyFlex teaching information.

Description : Are students asking you to use Moodle more in your face-to-face course? Have you avoided using Moodle because you are just not a techie? Then this workshop is for you! We will explore simple ways to use Moodle that will make life easier for any level computer user. You will learn about Moodle?s main communication tools, ways to organize class content, resources and the gradebook. We will also look at the advantages of using Moodle for faculty and students, as well as other training services available through e-LIS.

Semester Transition Extravaganza


Description : Come to the 4th floor of the library to work on your fall semester wrap-up and winter course transition. Both e-LIS and CETL will be present to assist.
