How to Use OakShare: Frequently Asked Questions—Bookmarks
Can I have shortcuts in OakShare? No, but you can bookmark frequently-used directories to which you need access. Creating bookmarks for these directories will enable you to access your important directories quickly and easily without having always to search through your directories in order to find them.
Can I copy a bookmarked web page to OakShare? No, you would need to save the web page to your computer, upload the web page to your OakShare account, and then bookmark the directory in which the web page resides.
How can I verify the full path of a bookmarked directory? You can either click the bookmark link itself or click the Manage Bookmarks icon
I tried to bookmark a directory using Add Bookmark, but got an error message. If you are not the file owner, ensure that you have permission to access the directory. Also, when you type in the directory name, ensure that you type it in exactly as it appears; for example, do not substitute a minuscule/lower-case letter for a majuscule/upper-case letter, and vice versa.
