Oakland University is now offering its Communication major at Macomb University Center. Students who earn the Associate of Baccalaureate Studies degree at Macomb Community College can transfer seamlessly into the Oakland University Communication major. What are the advantages?
- Value for your dollar. Students who complete the ABS degree at the community college who complete their four year degree at Oakland University will pay about
half as much as they would for a traditional four year college education.
- Great career opportunities! Students with a Communication major go on to pursue successful careers in public relations, advertising, marketing, management, sales, radio and TV production, and many others. After graduation, 90% of Oakland’s communication majors have employment in their field, with an average starting salary of $33,700.
- Classes are small and personal. Faculty know students by name and actively engage students in finding practical applications for the theories taught in class.
