Admission

Oakland University courses offered at the University Center are third- and fourth-year undergraduate and graduate-level only.

Admission into a bachelor's degree program may be obtained in one of two ways:

  1. Enroll at Macomb Community College and later apply for transfer to Oakland University.
  2. Enroll directly into Oakland University if lower division credits have been earned.

If you are currently a Macomb student planning to attend Oakland University at the University Center, you should contact a counselor or academic advisor at Macomb Community College to develop an educational plan that will assure that all of your community college credits will transfer.

Admission into a master's degree program requires direct application to Oakland University.
