UGE is dedicated to enhancing the quality of undergraduate programs, instruction, and advising in ways that lead to student success and retention. The Office of Undergraduate Education oversees university-wide academic programs including the Honors College, Bachelor of Integrative Studies, and International Education/Study Abroad. As an academic office, UGE initiates campus-wide projects that help to create vibrant learning environments for students. Recent initiatives include the revitalization of the general education curriculum, the Foundations of Excellence study of effective first year experience, and the development of faculty learning communities.
