Personal Information
June is an educator with over thirty years of experience in a wide variety of educational programs and settings. She has a B.S. from Western Michigan University in Art Education, an M.A.in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University and an Ed. S from Oakland University. Throughout her career she has developed, implemented and administered several programs from early childhood to High School. From Community Education Director to Building Principal, June has extensive experience with curriculum, assessment, facility operation, professional development, school funding, and special programs for at-risk students. She has conducted School Improvement Strategic Planning workshops around the state for the Michigan Department of Education, is certified as a Love and Logic Parent/Teacher Facilitator, worked with Legislators on educational funding issues, and has written and received numerous state and federal grants. In addition, June is a Lecturer, teaching graduate classes in Educational Leadership at Oakland University. June has been with the office of Public School Academies since 2007 and is responsible for coordinating professional development and analyzing academic achievement and school improvement data with PSA staff and administrators.
