Personal Information
Judeen has a background in K-12 education and technology. She has her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and her Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, from Wayne State University. Prior to joining the OUPSA Office in 2005, she worked as a teacher and technology director for six years at the University Public School in Detroit, and served as a technology consultant for the Detroit Public Schools. Judeen also has experience in the corporate world, as a network administrator. Judeen is the Assistant Director in the OUPSA Office and leads the review of new and renewal applications and the process of authorizing schools. She serves as a liaison to other departments on campus, including General Council, Risk Management, and Library services. These activities include board membership approvals, PSA insurance reviews, and design and maintenance of OUPSA Office website. She is also involved in delivering board training, and in conjunction with the Director, represents the University at various school events and state/local functions. With her background working in a charter school, Judeen has a strong commitment to the success of Oakland University’s public school academies and has experienced firsthand the daily challenges that are unique to a charter school environment.
