CURRENT RESEARCH PROJECTS
- Real Time Monitoring and Control of Resistance Spot
Welds; sponsored by Daimler Chrysler Corporation. The
results of this project will be implemented on the Servo
Actuated Adaptive Weld Control System.
- Robust Techniques for Information Hiding in Images. This
project is ready for commercialization. Potential uses include
secure military communication, hiding of patient information
in medical images, and multimedia applications.
- Automated Detection and Classification of Water-Borne
Microorganisms. This project is ready for commercialization.
Potential uses include automated monitoring of water quality
in lakes, rivers, and water purification plants.
- Robust Techniques for Engine Misfire Detection. This project
is ready for commercialization. It can be used to detect
and monitor occurrences of misfires in internal combustion
engines.
