In an effort to expand and diversify Oakland University’s student base, the Board of Trustees at the June 8, 2000 meeting approved the Senior Citizen Tuition Discount Program. The following recommendations were approved:
Eligible students must submit a completed admissions application form to either the Undergraduate or Graduate Admissions office. The Undergraduate Admissions Office is located in 101 North Foundation Hall and Graduate Admissions in 160 North Foundation Hall. Students register for classes online through SAIL or in person at the Registration Office, 100 O’Dowd Hall. With written permission of the instructor, students may also register to audit a course for non-credit during the late registration period for each semester or session. Late registration charges will be waived for such students. The Office of the Registrar provides a list of eligible students to Student Business Services who applies the Senior Citizen Tuition Discount for each eligible student.
