The Department of Psychology sponsors a chapter of Psi Chi, the national honor society in psychology. The Psi Chi Chapter collaborates with members of the department to sponsor a Speakers' Series, annual advising workshops (Careers in Psychology held every Fall semester, and How to Get into Graduate School held every Winter semester), and other academic and social events open to all interested students and faculty. Students planning to major in psychology should become familiar with the activities provided by Psi Chi because these events will certainly enhance what you will be learning in the classroom.
