Who can apply?

Undergraduate students who wish to apply for the SMaRT program must:

• be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (have a green card);

• be a high school senior or an undergraduate student at either a community college or university;

• obtain a GPA of 3.0 or above;

• be highly motivated, hard working and curious about what it takes to pursue a career in science.

We encourage students from all minority groups to apply.
