The student nurses association of Oakland University (SNAOU) offers a chance for nursing students to provide leadership in the school of nursing, mentor pre-nursing & other nursing students, participate in service activities, participate in political events at the university, state, & national levels.
Nursing and pre-nursing students are also given the opportunity & encouraged to become members of the Michigan student nurses association (MSNA) & the National student nurses association (NSNA). All of the professonal organizations provide stimulation, exciting challenges, information, & networking skills.
