Oakland University’s School of Nursing and presenting sponsor, William Beaumont Hospital are proud to host the second Envision Conference: Discovering creative and futuristic opportunities for nurses to engage in entrepreneurial solutions for practice, research and education.

A total of 6.5 contact hours will be awarded to individuals who participate and successfully complete the activity.

Cost for late registration is $95 from August 1-September 19th. To register, go to the Registration link. Seating is limited!

Valet or self serve parking are both available. Parking and the conference room are located at the back of the hotel.

Keynote Speaker, Louise Woerner, Director and founder of Home Care Resources in Rochester, New York will present her work on home care nursing and how it is changing the way healthcare is being delivered.

More exceptional speakers include Michael Wickett, nationally renowned speaker and trainer with Wickett Corporate Training, will teach and inform nurses on how to become an entrepreneur as a nurse.

Paul Santoro, President of Anesthsia Staffing Consultants, Inc. will discuss the economical and business role in nursing.

Dean for University of Rochester's School of Nursing, Patricia Chiverton will discuss connecting entrepreneurship to education in a university setting.

Professor Joanne Chung from Polytechnic University in Hong Kong, will discuss entrepreneurship in informatics and how the digital world is changing the healthcare industry. Topics include introducing the philosophy and objectives of the Mobile Integrative Health Centre and its possible implications for practice as well as discuss the impact in this innovative primary healthcare delivery.
