Cable TV Bulletin Board

Any Oakland University group or department may request slides to air on channel 74. The following guidelines apply to anyone requesting a slide:

  • A slide is one page of computer text, designed and sized for television viewing using Microsoft PowerPoint or saved as a PCT file.
  • All requests must be submitted on the OU TV Bulletin Board Form.
  • All slides must have Beginning and Ending dates.
  • Maximum time for a slide to run is 2 months.
  • Slides will be placed in rotation at no charge.
  • OU TV retains the right to edit copy if required for aesthetic purposes.
  • Requests are limited to a maximum of 5 slides.

Purpose

The bulletin board exists to inform the public of events and activities at Oakland University. This display is seen throughout the community in people's homes. All information must be up-to-date and appropriate for all possible viewers. The bulletin board must project an image that shows Oakland University in a positive manner.
