The Honors College Community Service experience allows students the opportunity to work within and get to know their community and its needs.  It also provides students opportunities for service and leadership.

A letter from the supervisor of the community service group should be submitted once the student completes the service.  The letter should provide information on the nature of the community service and how the student performed.  This will be part of the student’s file in The Honors College.  We encourage the supervisor to reflect on how this letter might be helpful to the student’s graduate school application and/or employment opportunities.
