Honors College Advisory Council

The HCAC was established in 2002 to assist The Honors College with its vision and programs from the perspective of a body looking back on their years as students at Oakland and in The Honors College. It is comprised of the directors and a selected group of alums representing a broad range of professions -- medicine, law, teaching and business. They convene to assist with the plans and programs of The Honors College, and to help The Honors College envision how these might best be implemented as we prepare students for advanced degrees and/or employment in the public and private sectors. The HCAC also supports The Honors College in its fundraising and recruitment initiatives.
