Logging into Moodle

1. Determine what Internet Browsers you are currently using.

a. The recommended browser is Mozilla Firefox.

b. If you do not have Firefox, you can download it for free by typing in Mozilla.com into the address bar and follow the simple steps.

2. Click on the Firefox icon to get the internet.

3. Type in www4.oakland.edu in the address bar.

4. Click on Info Tech at the bottom of the window.

5. Click on Moodle login in the middle section of the window.

6. Type in your OUCA user name, which is the first part of your e-mail address.

a. If you are a student, the username is usually the first letter of your first name, first letter of your middle name, and first six letters of your last name.

b. If you are a staff or faculty member, the username is usually the eight first letter of your last name.

7. Type in your OUCA password, which is your e-mail password. The password is 6 to 8 characters.

8. Click on Login to Moodle to enter into your Moodle’s main page.

If you do not remember your E-Mail account user name and/or password, click on Forgot your password, towards the bottom of the page. In the new window, click on Continue to Change/Reset/Obtain Password and follow the few simple steps.

9. Review the important information and updates on the left side of your Moodle’s home page.

10. Review the courses you are a member of on the right side of your Moodle’s home page.

11. Select the desired class by clicking on the course title.
