Online Programs and Courses

Oakland University offers a number of online courses and academic programs. The courses are usually available through our online course management system, Moodle, or through video-conferencing, Ellumuniate. Prospective students should contact the relevant academic department or unit.

A. School of Nursing

• Accelerated Second Degree B.S.N.
• MSN in Adult/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner—Two-thirds online.
• MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner Program—Two-thirds online.
• MSN in Nurse Anesthesia—Half online.
• MSN in Nursing Education—Majority online.
• Doctorate Nursing Practitioner—Majority online.

B. School of Education

• Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S.), concentration in School Administration
• Certificate for International Baccalaureate, half online.
• Microcomputer Applications Certificate Program
• Masters of Education in Teacher Leadership, one third online.

C. School of Health Sciences

• Masters of Science in Safety Management, began Spring 2008.

F. College of Arts and Sciences

• Master of Public Administration—One-third Online.
• ESL Endorsement in Linguistics—Majority online with internship.
