This conference was offered by e-Learning and Instructional Support to external instructional technologists and faculty to discuss the complete suite of software needed to offer high quality online programs and courses. This all-day event featured both an administrative track and a e-Learning tool track. The administrative track discussed the technical setup of an open source learning management system (Moodle) as well as online course evaluation, faculty support, and program development. The e-Learning tool track appealed to faculty and staff by offering hands-on workshops of the latest instructional tools and pedagogical methods, including Moodle, open source e-Portfolio systems (based on Moodle), Elluminate, Camtasia and Second Life.
