Elluminate

Elluminate provides a real-time, video-conferencing classroom environment. It has one main webpage with faculty and student audio, text-chat, an interactive whiteboard for displaying files or webpages, faculty and student video, and moderator tools. Oakland University has 50 seats, so classes and meeting with 50 or less participants can be opened anytime during the day or night. Meetings and classes will be created on a first come/first served basis, so put in your reservation early. Note! Elluminate may may have security issues with wireless networks.

To get started, look at the following:

• First time users need to download software to run Ellluminate on their computers.
• Help Documents for using Elluminate.
• Online training for instructors.
• Register and login for Elluminate's users group.
• Join a live demo of Elluminate during the business day.

Take Note! Elluminate does not work over OU's Grizznet wireless system.
