    Recognizing the global diversity of America and of Oakland University

    Honoring the historical and cultural contributions of African Americans throughout the world

    Celebrating the life of a great spiritual leader and social activist whose ideals helped to change the world.

  • Keeper of the Dream Celebration
    Celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by awarding scholarships to students who have demonstrated strong citizenship, leadership and scholarship

  • Diverse Student Leader Weekend
    Co-sponsored by the Office of Admissions, this program gives underrepresented students a chance to see OU Live and in person, while classes are in session. Students also stay overnight and are hosted by a current OU student.

    An OU program that puts freshmen students at the top of their academic game.
