Meeting of Minds Journal - Call for Papers

Papers presented at the Meeting of Minds conference on May 16, 2008 are being solicited in the next volumne of the Meeting of Minds Journal of Undergraduate Research.

Deadline for submission is June 16th, 2008

Manuscript guidelines

All papers must be submitted in MS Word. The text of all manuscripts must be no more than 5-7 single-spaced pages (including references, images and graphs), typed in 12 point Times New Roman font with one-inch margins. Images and graphs should be provided electronically and incorporated directly into the text where appropriate. The bibliography and citations should conform to MLA style guidelines. Information about this style is available by following the "MLA Format" link off the web at: http://library.umd.umich.edu/research/internet/citing.html.

  • The manuscript must be submitted electronically using the online submission form.

  • In addition, students must print and sign the attached Permission to Publish \ Faculty Approval Form and have the faculty sponsor acknowledge and sign the attached "Faculty Approval" form. THESE FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED WIUTH ONE HARD COPY OF THE MANUSCRIPT. Please mail to the address below:

  • Active participation of the first author in this year's conference is a requirement for publication in the journal.

The Editorial Board reviews all submissions for compliance with the guidelines specified above.

Authors are responsible for the content, any interpretation of results/data, and any views or comments offered in their manuscript. Manuscripts accepted for publication become the property of the Journal Editorial Board. For each accepted manuscript the author and faculty sponsor each receive a complimentary copy of the Journal.
