Each preprofessional school undergraduate is advised to visit with Dr. Keith A. Berven, Premed Advisor, in his/her sophomore year and initiate the process for his/her evaluation by the Preprofessional Advisory Committee. The professional schools prefer to receive an overall evaluation from O.U. concerning each undergraduate health sciences professional school applicant.

The student is required to submit the following items to the Preprofessional Advisory Committee:

1. Complete autobiographical essay
2. Transcripts of all undergraduate courses
3. Recommendations from three (3) undergraduate faculty members (preferably in science courses)
4. Scores from MCAT, DCAT, OAT, or GRE.
