Studio Art MajorRequirements for the Major in Studio Art: for students enrolled in Fall 2006 or later
All majors in studio art must complete a core group of studio art (26 credit hours) and art history courses (8 credit hours), as well as a specialization (28 credit hours) in one of the following field areas: studio art, drawing, painting or photography. The program requires a total of 62 credit hours.

Studio Art MajorRequirements for the Major in Studio Art: for students enrolled prior to Fall 2006
All majors in studio art must complete a core group of studio art (12 credit hours) and art history courses (16 credit hours), as well as a specialization (32 credit hours) in one of the following field areas: studio art, drawing, painting or photography. The program requires a total of 60 credit hours. NOTE: Due to the changes in courses, all majors enrolled prior to Fall 2006 should check with the department adviser to clarify how to complete their requirements.
