Exhibitions and Lectures at the Meadow Brook Art Gallery. For the schedule, click on the Meadow Brook Art Gallery link. Lectures will be announced throughout the academic year.
Senior Thesis Art Exhibitions. Graduating Studio Art majors will display their work in Senior Thesis exhibitions in the Meadow Brook Art Gallery in April and May. Student art will also be more informally displayed in the departmental display cases on the third floor of Wilson Hall, and occasionally in other venues as well.
Lectures in Art and Art History. The department sponsors at least two formal lectures during the academic year: the Art and Art History Alumni Lecture and the Fred M. Braun Lecture in Art and Art History. The department also sponsors an informal travel lecture during the winter semester, lectures in conjunction with exhibitions at the Meadow Brook Art Gallery, as well as other casual presentations. All students enrolled in art history and studio art classes are encouraged to participate in these activities. Announcements will be posted.
